Meet Ainslie.

Hi, I’m Ainslie, a Brisbane-based Interior Designer, founder of Design Anthropic and a passionate advocate for thoughtful, future-focused design.

With a background in Interior Architecture and Physical Anthropology, combined with over a decade of experience in healthcare environments, I bring a distinctive approach to creating spaces that not only look beautiful but actively enhance well-being, independence, and longevity.

My expertise lies in blending aesthetics with function—helping my clients create homes that adapt to their changing needs while maintaining sophistication and personal style.

By integrating elegant design with future-ready functionality, Design Anthropic redefines what it means to live comfortably and confidently at home—without compromising beauty or individuality.

Human-Centred Design Expertise
With a background in Physical Anthropology, I design with a deep understanding of how people interact with their environments.

Healthcare & Accessibility Knowledge
Over a decade in healthcare environments gives me unique insight into how homes can be both beautiful and functionally supportive.

A Future-Focused Approach
Our designs incorporate ageing-in-place principles, ensuring your home remains comfortable and safe as your needs change.

A Balance of Aesthetic & Practicality
Every space I design combines high-end materials with functional, future-proof features that enhance daily living.
